Well the "game boyz" were practically gang-banging him on that 91 Arsenio performance. Pardon my crude language but he looked like a prison bitch during that number. Well, being the person who pulled that quote from the Bible, it's only fair to acknowledge that my larger context of posts declared myself as imperfect, also sinful and human, too, just making it through by the grace of God. The same Bible that says you sin says the same about me. I'm still a sinner; I'm just forgiven of my sins and their wages. And, while I can't speak for everybody who falls in your aforementioned category, I can say that liking most of Prince's music is just a matter of artistic and personal preference. It's like asking why one combs their hair a certain way. There are some of his songs -- because of their content -- that I just don't listen to anymore. The walk of a Christian usually isn't static; there's an evolution of thought as we conform more to the will and ways of Christ. So while my listening habits don't involve, say, his more explicit songs, that doesn't mean I can't appreciate his talent or learn from him as a musician. It's like saying, "You play the blues -- how can you think alcoholism is wrong just because the Bible says so?" One really has little to do with the other. | |

Trust this one people, I can't reveal the source,but "she" is definetly an insider, and has slept with him several times.Prince's whole feminine style and demeanor came about during his initial journeys to the NYC in the late 70's. What happened at that time is anyones guess.
But once and for all he is Notoriously Heterosexual. However, I was told of a story regarding a confidentiality document that exists between him and a Mr. Tony Mosley which can lead anyone to believe he has skeletons. I have always assumed that he experiemented. I don't care if he did or didn't. I believe that his art is and always will be God Blessed and a miracle to all who are touched by it. Now as far as your comments on religion. Why is it that people think religion does not or is not suppossed to judge? That is the whole purpose to judge us, guide us and love us. Unconditional love is one thing but that does not mean that God is accepting of all of our deeds and misdeeds. I think that this misconcepting fuels why this thread has had the response it has. There are many who feel Prince if he had gay experiences did something morally wrong (and no that are no more unenlightend to your cause than you are to theirs). There are others who do not. Both have there own roads to walk and crosses to bear. If you want people to respect homosexuality then you have to be prepared for those who disagree with it and feel it is wrong. I personally feel that if you can get people to disagree and still respect one another you have done a mighty task. The problem is people generally feel disrespected by the disagreement itself and that is when the problems start. I am Christian and don't feel I am a prude or any dirivetive there of.
