I put my arm across his shoulder during an aftershow during the Jam of the Year tour and he felt like a bony piece of driftwood. This was when the vegan thing really started to get some mention from him. My first reaction was to pull my arm away because I wasn't ready for him to feel so bony. But then I thought, "I'll never be this close to Prince again," and I put my arm back on his shoulder. At that point, his bodyguard grabbed my arm off of him and almost broke it into. Prince stared straight down the entire time. There is another part to the story that I'll tell some other time. | |
