he gets rave reviews at the Oscars with people saying how nice it was to see Prince again..when he appears on talk shows the man can't even talk when he sits down because the screaming goes on and on..my question where did all these admirers come from? are these Michael Jackson fans who jumped ship with his recent problems or has there been so much crap music out the past 5 years that people are finally "getting it" and now are in awe of a real artist and not some corporate puppet?

From my understanding, the Ellen and Leno shows were filled with NPGMC members, so it ain't like we're hearing the screams of different fans, just the same ones that have been screaming forever...

As far as the general public knows, Prince really hasn't been around since
'The Most Beautiful Girl In The World' was released.

I told a friend of mine yesterday that I got tickets to see Prince, and his response was, "He's still around?"
