Way back in the 60's Roger McGuinn of the Byrds decided to record a double album. For reasons I don't know the project was abandoned. The subject was to be a history of music. Covering everything from the 1800's up to the present, which at the time was 1969, I think. Anyway, to get to Prince, doesn't that sound like a project Prince could tackle, with ease? Sure he's had releases in the past that were all over the place but I think it would be cool to see him try everything. Blues, jazz, country (yes, I said country) R & B, rock and roll, reggae and rap. I know I left out some forms of music but most of em are variations on the types I listed. I think Prince is at his best when he is trying to be ambitious. I think maybe four CD's to explore all forms of music would be sufficient. So that is what I'd like to see Prince do in the future. A four CD box set of new material where he tried a little bit of everything!

Lenae, you hit the nail on the head! Crystal Ball sequel, done properly, would be awesome!

I would like to see him star in a movie in which he doesnt play a musician or a chracter that is close to him. Perhaps a cameo or supporting role in a mainstream film with some of his cool movie star buddies like Laurence Fishburne or better yet, star in a Spike Lee film

The real thing I would like to have seen was a collaboration with Miles - no one else is worthy to work with Prince

and take it seriously. i'd like to seem him actually learn how to read music then write a symphony and play none of the intruments. i would give never ending praise if he did this. and not some crap like kamasutra which is excellent in parts but in other parts has pseudo cheezy jazz: promiss broken and overture # 8 are so embarresing and pathetic.

I know he's not the greatest guitar player, but he deserves to be on that list.
