Why not? The more publicity, the better and it would do these young whipper snappers some good to see someone called a musician play something called an instrument. thumbs up!

I gather you did not watch his interview last time he was on TRL. It was painful because he just didn't belong.

Absolutely!! Right now the brother is in "Teach" mode. The younger artists and fans need to be educated on what it means to be a real musician and staying true to oneself.

I intend to take my kids to the Musiology tour when it hits Philly. A few years back I took my then 10 yr. old daughter to see Teena Marie and the Gap Band at Unity Day in Philly and she was absolutely blown away! Problem is now I can't listen to any of my old school CD's because she's got them.....Thank god bor CD Burners! biggrin

The last time he was on TRL he didn't seem comfortable at all! I believe this time would B different because he wants this attention and it is not being dictated by any record executives. ....I wish there was no black and white I wish there were no rules! fro

Yes for 106 & Park. I don't think I've ever seen a live group on 106.
TRL is is depressing to watch. So I hope not.

I know Free (106th) is a big fan. He'd be more than welcomed.

He'd probably be ok there.

TRL - I don't know.

Of COURSE he should. Independants need all the media they can get. He should play every show they'll let him.

Have you all forgotten that the last time he was one TRL, Carson Daly was interviewing him? I'd probably act the same way if he was trying to probe me. confused

Absolutely. If Prince is all about teaching the youth about real music, then he needs to be on these 2 show the most. As stated before, Free and AJ are both fans and on TRL Quaddus (I think thats how you spell it) has talked about Prince and all of his albums they should check out, so he's a fan. I believe it would be cool as long as Carson Daly's no where in sight.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

absolutely. it would be a breath of fresh air to see someone like p on 1o6th and park rather than the bling bling obssessed, living stereotypes that generally appear on the show. and trl...what to say about trl...that show is even worse than 1o6th and park! nothing breeds ADHD more than that piece of shit broadcast. get p on there quick...two times!

Lord, no. no no no! These shows are watched my kids who think making real music is
pushing #2 on their Casio's and shaking their fannies like a milkshaker.
I'm definitely taking my daughter to the MT concert. I see it as an educational experience.
