The current band lineup for the NPG Who are the other members of the current lineup of the NPG. There were some faces I didn't recognize while watching Ellen. The faces I recognized were Renato, Rhonda, John Blackwell, Candy Dulfer, but the organist and the Asian keyboardist and the new trombone player and the other sax player. Can anyone answer that one?

The Organist/Keyboardist is Chance Howard, Former Member of the Time. The Asian keyboardist you referenced is R.A.D., the Trombonist is Greg Boyer of Parliament fame, and the other sax player is Mike Philips, a member of Stevie Wonder's band. | |

The Organist/Keyboardist is Chance Howard, Former Member of the Time. The Asian keyboardist you referenced is R.A.D., the Trombonist is Greg Boyer of Parliament fame, and the other sax player is Mike Philips, a member of Stevie Wonder's band. Thanks for that! I thought that looked like Chance, but couldn't be sure. He dressed as if he was still playing for the Time. I didn't know he left the Time. Do you know what the acronym R.A.D. means? Okay, I didn't recognize Greg Boyer. I seen him during the "One Nite Alone" tour. And I know Mike Philips. I have a CD that he put out last year. The NPG once again is "Glam Slam." "I ordered, yeah give me a fruit cocktail, I ain't to hungy." | |
