Prince’s interaction with Mel on Jay Leno is now even funnier now that I’ve seen the movie…

I left the cinema last night watery-eyed and nauseous. At one point during the film, I almost hurled on the floor. I’m a fan of horror and sci-fi so my reaction was more psychological than anything else. The only thought going through my mind as I headed home was that nothing else matters.

So today, Prince’s “What are you doing after the show” comment is the only thing that’s making me smile.

Me too, I was a blubbering bitch on Monday after I saw it (by myself). I had no one to talk to after it was over....I went home and ate cake.
Every minute of last night is on my face today....

Funny you mention that. In the subway, it's rare anyone speaks to me (or anyone) unless they are friends or looking for directions, but Friday after work, a older black gentleman looked at me and asked if he could talk to me. I say yes and right out he asks me if I've seen Mel Gibson's movie. I said I had not and he looked like he had seen the movie alone and wanted to talk to someone, anyone. My stop was the next station, so I'll never know.

2 say I enjoyed the movie would be using the wrong phrase...i mean I thought it was worth going to...but not something u could 'enjoy'....a powerful movie.....makes u think....who cares if it was a stauros or cross...the way it happened i think the cross mighta been not so bad...I mean at least it was over quicker....what a hell of a thing 4 some1 2 go thru...whether u believe JC was son of god, a leader of a 'new breed' or just a religious nut.....u can't leave this movie without some kind of reaction...I am not a Jew (I was brought up catholic) but i had a feeling of guilt after/ whilst watching (btw I don't think any less of the jews now as I did before...y would I...that would b like me saying I don't like germans cos of the war...hell most of the nazis r dead ...and I don't think many germans now would let that kinda thing happen again)....my final thoughts were....was that entertainment, documentary or both...the bottom line is that it was very violent but also very real!! I wouldn't let my daughter go 2 until she was at least 16.....it was just too real!! props 2 mel gibson..i don't know y p was so jovial 2wards mel...it kinda didn't come off 2 well in a sense....mind u I don't know what the tone was like b4 p got there....if it was a serious type interview with mel gibson...maybe P was trying 2 lighten things up...maybe he wanted 2 make mels project sideline 2 him,...who knows.....I thought P was funny as hell but i felt sorry 4 mel...he was like a possum in front of headlights....but I hope Prince wasn't disrespecting mel and his movie...i don't think so....i hope they had a chat afterwards....maybe about religion...i woulda loved 2 b a fly on the wall in theat conversation....'whats shakin mel..y do ya think it was a cross...ain't u heard of a stauros?' actually I would like 2 know what P thinks of the movie...ifhe has seen it...would b interesting what his reaction was...not that I care...his life and all that...but wonder whathe thought...do u think he would sing about a cross now or still 'the christ'.....history is a funny thing.....how do u know any of it is true exactly...I mean the bible has the same messages in it from the apostles/disciples - but they r all slightly different....is there any mention of a stauros in any of their original transcripts? I wonder where exactly JW's get the notion that JC wasn't nailed 2 a cross.... doesn't bother me either way....I mean the end result was the same...but its funny how many religions r borne out of 1 book...so many different interpretations from just 1 book..... no offense 2 any1 but I'll keep with my own personal 'faith'....religions r too much about $$$.....
all I gotta say is that P has his believes and mel has his...there r probably more things they have in common within their religions than most would think.....

i'm thinking P didn't make it to any of the advance screenings but who knows. it was a tough spot to be in.
