Yeah Chaos & Disorder rocks! The title track has super-high energy. It's a perfect tune to put on when Prince is in town causing drama and pandemonium.

"I Like It There" is a top entry on Prince's all-star guitar list. He really wails on that one. Down and dirty!

Plus I think "Calhoun Square" was an outtake from the same Miami recording sessions that produced Chaos & Disorder. Love me some "Calhoun Square," especially live!!

I really liked it - bought it while on holiday in America, when it had just come out, on tape so I could play it in a hire car on a cross-states 2 weeks trip from San Fran to Albuquerque. So I have fond memories of it with hot days and deserts and mountains.

But besides that, I love the raw sounding tracks like the title track and 'I Like It There', but the other songs also have their merits. 'I Rock..' could have been a bit 'rockier' though. I think it is a bit of a hotpotch of tracks, but I kind of like albums like that - Prince's albums always used to have a load of disimilar tracks stuck together.

Fans don't buy it because before they even hear it they've made their minds up about it, knowing it was supposedly to fullfill his contract (The Vault came out afterwards... so I guess his contract wasn't quite filled!) and assuming it was gonna be a throwaway album. I remember a friend once told me 'Around the World In a Day' was a really weird, not very good album, and I ended up taking a while to buy it based on his critique - just shows how wrong you can be.

Chaos & Disorder is a really good album. If you are a Prince fan and don't have this one, you are missing out!

1. Chaos & Disorder - Solid track. I like it.

2. I Like It There - LOVE THIS TRACK!

3. Dinner With Delores - VERY solild track. I like it alot.

4. The Same December - LOVE IT! A classic.

5. Right The Wrong - Most people hate it, I think it's ok. Not bad, not great.

6. Zannalee - LOVE IT! A classic. too short though. Coulda done without the "policeman" overdub.

7. Into The Light - ABSOLUTELY Fantastic! Classic Prince!

8. I Will - A sort of continuation of "Into the light", very nice. I love it.

9. I Rock, Therefore I Am - Hmmm... Not terrible, but I know that I personally do not like this song. One reason is the "jamacian"-style rapper.

10. Dig U Better Dead - Very weak track in my opinion. Poorly written, poorly executed. I don't HATE it, but it's really weak.

11. Had U - Strange "song". I don't really like it. I'm not sure it's even a song. I've heard many people say they like it. That baffles me.

I think that's all, maybe I forgot one song.

3 songs I think kinda suck, 1 song that's just ok, 2 songs I like alot, and 5 REALLY GOOD ones. Not too shabby. Buy it!
