Prince on Ellen....some club members invited to taping? TAKEN FROM U TELL US FORUM....over at the club)....
"First I want to say THANK YOU Prince and NPGMC for selecting me to go to Ellen's taping. What an incredible show!!!!! Prince was breathtaking as usual. He looked soooo Suave & Sexy, decked out in all Black attire. His jacket was black -black leather laces, sleeveless vest and mock turtle neck. He looked absolutely amazing. ..... The whole taping this evening was Prince! He started off with KISS, did the interview with Ellen, sang Nothing Compares 2 U and finished with Feel 4 U (I do think I am leaving out another song, but, at this time I can't recall it). The set up-with purple lighting and decorations enhanced the stage and set the mood for the mini concert we were blessed with. Great Job NPG!! Once again you brought the house down. To top off such a terrific performance, Prince gave out the ONA Live Aladdin DVD to all the audience members!! Prince, as usual, you are so generous to us all! Such Class. What versions of the hits did he play? Were they re-arranged, jazzy or standard? See the man with the blue guitar, maybe one day he`ll be a star... |

perhaps they were being a little cheeky could it be? lol, that would be funny! its a nice touch him giving out ONA dvds, but i suppose thats cos he's probably got a ton of them leftover from the NPG warehouse! still, the NPGMC members now have what, 2 copies of that, 3 copies of ONA itself, and possiblye a couple of copies of ONA live! haha. still the non NPGMC audience members surely woudl have thought thats nice, taken it home and wondered about the quality! ah well, good press isnt it! whats the ratings figures for ellens show average? | |
