Why do all Prince's tours start in March? Well, ok, not all, but off the top of my head, Act I, the '95 Gold Experience, One Nite Alone, Musicology... any others???

The ONA tour started exactly 2 years ago today, in case anyone is interested... Maybe it has to do with improving weather in March, leaving the most time possible in the year for a tour? Makes it easier to get everyone out of MPLS, and helps minimize tour dates getting cancelled due to weather. Just a guess. The ones you mentioned and the 1986 'Hit 'N Run' tour started in March.

The 'Diamonds and Pearls' tour opened in April, 1992 (Tokyo) and finished in July, 1992 (Paris). . ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |
