Should the Musicology Tour Set list have been Prince's live album?

Listen-

I love ONA:Live. That being said, it is somewhat annoying to have the only official live definitive live Prince album and not have songs like "Purple Rain". Don't get me wrong when I see him live again I won't be disappointed if he doesn't play "the hits" (as most of us hardcore fans won't.) However, the live album is one of those things that in 50 years I wanna play and I'd much rather have "Purple Rain" than "Mellow". Again, not taking anything away from "Mellow" but their is something to be said about owning the "classics" live. Perhaps the Musicology Tour should have been the live album-especially if it's really the last time for these songs. I dunno what do you think?

Hopefully Prince will release another box set at the end of the Musicology tour. Maybe four discs this time to fit more music on it. I think he should release a box set of all his past tours but Prince doesn't seem into pleasing his fans.

Well, hopefully ONA isn't the last Prince live release.

I can't really comment on the quality of the ONA Live performance since I've only ever scanned through it once, I'm not a huge fan of live stuff, even though I have a lot of it. I stopped collecting because I simply never listened to it except for the odd Controversy/1999 show.

From what's been said recently about the ONA Tour, I get the impression Prince was very pleased with it as a tour, and a one-off event - and maybe that's why the live set was released, to document this tour, officially, for his audience (current and future).
