NEW POWER SOUL! I know, I know....everybody hates this album. But I loved it. True story! Gold Experience??? Not Quite....a just miss....but I gotta say NO.....and I think he just missed on the Symbol Album ('92) as well. He blew it w/ the first track and the last 2 or 3 tracks. LOVESEXY! It's badness is more compelling than the GOOD qualities of "Rave", or "Chaos and Disorder", or even "D&P"! So MANY Questions come to MIND when listening to it!!! WHY did he release it? With his vault, WHY THESE 'songs'?Is he even TRYING? Does PRINCE think "this is good!"? Did he think the artwork in the booklet was beautiful? Does he like that picture of himself in the cover? It's like listening to a car wreck-and in that twisted way NPS is SO bad and inexplicable it's kinda good! Unlike *yawn* "Rave", which elicits no emotion! Groove baby! | |

Comes out of nowhere, super short and jolts you out of the mood of the album...but I see it as having some purpose. It fits with the story and sugues to the 2nd half. Man for a 30 sec song...this one is HATED. I know my partner hates this song vehemently..and it's not allowed to be played in the house  .
wedding feast... any time there's little kids around, they want to hear it about 20 times, memorize it and go around singing it for days. it's not cool... it's PLAYFUL. i don't think it was meant to be anything else. | |

I can't understand how people can hate wedding feast so much. it's a tiny little segue of a song. okay it's pretty weird but there isn't enough there to ruin a whole album! the only albums that don't have some bum song on them: dirty mind 1999 purple rain parade sign of the times atwiad - tambourine ruins it for me (though mountains is such a great song that it is still one of my favourite albums). tge - generally pretty good but i really can't make myself like 319. lovesexy is great as a whole album, but I really don't take to dance on. All those who believe in telekinetics, raise my hand...
