I'd have to say 'Love Symbol'.I used to listen to that album from beginning to end, without having to skip over any tracks.

"Enjoyed". hmmm I enjoyed TRC from beginning to end, even though Wedding Feast was the most spectacularly misfired joke ever. Talking about really liking each song, no duds though, was The Truth.

"The Rainbow Children" blew me away. Before that, the "Symbol" album.

TRC. I'm not a big fan of Wedding Feast, but it's so short that I can't be bothered to hit the skip button! lol
I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, keep me here.

Lovesexy. TRC almost did it, but sadly The Wedding Feast was included.

Wedding Feast -- Yes, that really kills the CD -- Thank God its short and an extended version will never see daylight.

For You. Kidding. I guess I also have to go with the Gold Experience too. But I also really like Emancipation. But with three hours of music there has to be something you don't like!

Waitaminnit! You're not the real EWM are you?? You're his ....errr, evil twin, right (or would that be his good twin? Man, I'm so confused)?

I actually really enjoyed the trio of jazz influenced instumental albums (Xpectation, N.E.W.S. and C-Note). N.E.W.S. is my least favorite, while Xpectation is the best of the three. I can understand how some fans don't dig 'em, but there really is some great playing going on on those discs.

I'm dead serious. Batman was consistent all the way through, with no rap segments or any other waste. Plus it had some great tracks on it (Electric Chair, Vicki Waiting, Partyman, Lemon Crush, Scandalous, etc.). I could listen to the album straight through.

That's okay. The Arms of Orion is better than any track on TRC.

Yes Batman is very consistant. I actually love that album...not all the time but I definitely give it a couple of spins every so often.

My Last favorite is TRC. I know I am in a minority...but I love wedding feast. I think I cracked up the first time I heard it. I take it as a segue or skit or whatever. Comes out of nowhere, super short and jolts you out of the mood of the album...but I see it as having some purpose. It fits with the story and sugues to the 2nd half. Man for a 30 sec song...this one is HATED. I know my partner hates this song vehemently..and it's not allowed to be played in the house eek.

But before that one...there was a gap for me. I'd say Come was the best before that one.

Just messin' with y'all. I would have to say Come or The Gold Experience, although I liked alot of Crystal Ball and The Truth. I still haven't heard The Rainbow Children or N.E.W.S.

None.

But after repeated playing, I'd have to go with the following:

Dirty Mind
1999
Purple Rain
Lovesexy
The Gold Experience
The Undertaker
Chaos And Disorder
The Rainbow Children
Xpectation
NEWS

.

I disagree

That's just your opinion. I read another one of yours about which music
was good and influential in the 8ties, it made clear u don't know too
much about good music i'm sorry. Just my two cents no hard feelings.

So in your opinion, what constitutes "knowing" about good music?

I'd have to say Lovesexy. No trash filler on that one. Some other albums have come close, but he puts too much out. This may surprise some, but Chaos was, in my opinion, a really tight album that I liked pretty much straight through.
