Dose the Albums matter anymore?

Just wanted 2 ask this cause it seems to me that i would rather hear and see prince live then buy the album, i mean he as the right to do what he wants but some of the prince songs are not that good don't get me wrong but when was the last time you heard a new prince song on the radio of any kind fast or slow i think it was I HATE U?Just wanted to see what u think and i am in L.A. where there is room for him but i don't see it any time soon.

I think we are all hoping for the day that Prince releases another killer album. In my opinion if the man would just focus he would be fine. He needs something to inspire him. I know a lot of you don't like Emancipation but I think that was the last time he was really focused and wanted to create a great album.

WORD! Nothing in the world wrong w/ EMANCIPATION. Especially the first 2 discs. That is my favorite over-all Prince period. From say GOLD EXPERIENCE through NEW POWER SOUL. I call it the "Let's NOT Pretend We're Married" period. He was into Mayte and his impending family and he did some great stuff. He really gave a damn and he really meant what he was saying. The HOLY RIVER, LET'S HAVE A BABY, I ROCK THEREFORE I AM, INTO THE LIGHT, THE ONE, on and on... lots of great stuff!! I don't like it all either, but you know what? I don't like EVERY damn track on 1999, SOTT, or PARADE either!! lol
