Unreleased Joint Of The Day: "All My Dreams"

"All My Dreams"

The unreleased "Parade" and "Dream Factory" outtake that is so sweet you could get a cavity just listening to it! A fun, bouncy number that has a heaping dose of princely psychadelia to it. "It's just fun, nothing ethereal" Prince states at one point, and that just about sums it up! Wendy and Lisa's presence is most definitely felt on this little ditty.

Worthless trivia tidbit- It marks the first time Prince would name-check his favorite cereal: Captain Crunch!

The best outtake. Hands down. Everything Prince knows about music, incorporated into one jam.

Honestly not keen - the first third I dig , but it then loses its way and rambles around. The first third is catchy as hell tho

Not had it long and will keep an open mind and see if it grows on me.

When was this recorded?

All other "Prince promises" aside, we have written proof that it will be released.

before the world comes to an end. otherwise it won't hold up in court.

My fave album is Parade, and I kinda feel like how Zelaira was sayin', "All My Dreams" reflecting those old melody styles. It's great.

With all the respect of the nice people here, I prefer something else more like the originals Databank, We Can Funk or She's Always In My Hair. Oh I forgot 17 Days. But All My Dreams is a nice song, maybe too carnavalesque, but is a great song.
