Is AOL Radio playing Prince Bootlegs? AOL Radio has an all Prince station now, and they just played a song called "Fantastic", and the album was listed as "Crucial".
As a lifelong fan, I can only say.."Huh?" The song was "purple rain"-era, and sounded vaguely familiar. The sound was far from good quality, and even sounded scratchy. And "Crucial"? I can only guess this was a bootleg. Eugnj420 | |

It instantly became a favorite of mine and I thought the quality was pretty darn good at the time. The songs on it were so good...i rmember thinking 'why doesn't he put THIS stuff out instead of stuff like Graffiti Bridge???' anyway, since first getting that Crucial boot i've gotten ahold of various complilation boots that contain many of the tunes that were on that Crucial record. I'll have to go back and listen to them side by side to see if the old one was really THAT bad.... | |
