If it were you what kind of nitty gritty questions would you ask him?

I'd start with these:

1. Why has the NPG consisted of so many new members over the years?
2. Do you think you will go back to your pop/rock/funk style?
3. How do you feel about the negative response towards your relationship with Larry Graham?
3. Would you like to be as popular as you were in the 80's or does it not matter?
4. Is there anything you miss about your past?
6. Will you ever change the name of the band?
7. What would you think about doing a tour based entirely on bootlegged material?
8. Do you feel you are gaining new fans with your current music?
9. Are at all concerned with having a smaller fan base?
10. What are some of your favorite unreleased songs?
11. How many people sent you their copies of unofficial CD's, which you requested?
12. What is your current opinion on being signed to a major label?
13. What about that story of you ignoring Trent Reznor in the hallway?
14. Who are your favorite rock musicians?
15. How did you like The Foo Fighter's version of Darling Nikki?
16. What musicians would you still like to work with, if any?
17. What do you think your music will sound like in ten years if you are still producing?
18. Is there any style of music you would like to play with more than you have in the past?
19. Is it harder for you to execute certain dance moves now that you're older?
20. What was the deal with not wanting people to make eye contact with you?
21. Are you a devoted Jehova's Witness for life, or do you think you'll ever switch gears again?
22. If you've seen it, what is your opinion of The Passion of the Christ?
23. Why do you feel it's necessary to change your lyrics in certain songs?
24. Out of all your past band members, who do you miss playing with the most?
25. When do you think you might release some more vault material?
26. Have you ever had beef with another artist? And bad feelings with anyone?
27. It seems you take the stage later than people expect at your shows? Why is that?
28. Are you still constantly writing and producing, or have you slowed it down a bit?
29. Do you see yourself having a number one single or album again?
30. Do you ever read what is posted about you on sites like prince.org?

most question are not different that "the same old shit" asked to him...

I agree. If I interviewed him, I'd ask about his music and the creation process. Especially, what inspired songs like Starfish and Coffee. I'd love an interview that focused on his craft, and not his wardrobe or love life.

Oh PLEASE don't ask him about "The Passion Of The Christ"! That would just lead to him talkin' about "stauros" again, which would, in turn, lead to debates for months on here about JWs and Larry Graham!!!

He was asked on the Love4oneanother site years back what inspired Starfish and Coffee and he said it was about a "specially-advantaged child" , or words similar to that.

You people should think outside the box... disbelief We're talking about an orger interviewing Prince. I should interview him and ask these questions:

1. So who have you taken a liking to on the website "prince.org"? (He would try to lie and say he doesn't know about us, he never visits this site, but I'd keep pressing him lol)
2.So why did you want people to send their records to Ohio, of all places?
3.Do you feel you've accomplished anything by forcing some people to close down their web sites containing info about bootlegs? If so, why?
4.Rick James or Michael Jackson?
5.Have you talked to Andre Cymone lately? Why did your friendship with him turn sour a long time ago?
6.We've seen you and your wife at a lot of basketball games. Do you role play, like, dress up in athletic apparel for her, when you're at home? lol
7.A lot of people on the org wanna know...do you really have seven inches?
8. Also, a lot of people on the org wanna know about the status of your hairline. Can you talk about that for a minute?
9.Do you have any comments for the members of the 1978-1995 club?
10.Did you know that you can put like 6 hours of stuff on a DVD? You didn't? Well that would explain it!
11.What did you think about the Family Jamm? Will you be at the next one? No?Didn't think so.
12. What in the hell wereyou and Danny Glover talking about? confuse
I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!
