"Music before the Ology" is kinda confusing Leno kinda blew Prince off when he started talking about the "music comes before the ology" stuff. I think that people just want him to speak English sometimes. Maybe he can say something like "musicianship has been lost and the new record attempts to bring it back to everyone, young and old." He has a great message with this new project, but I just hope that it doesn't get lost in translation like so many other projects. The man did tear it up last night though, but I didn't like the special effects in the middle of the song.

Donny I took it to mean music before the science. Meaning, the art of music, not the science of programming beats Exactly.  I also interpreted it as meaning there was music before someone decided to make a course or study of it and I, too, wasn't feeling that special effect w/ the camera. | |

I don't think Leno blew him off so much as saved him from rambling on. I thought Leno could see him drifting from a concise answer and guided the interview back before Prince could finish (which might have taken another minute or so). Donny That was easy enough to understand if you understand wht "ology" means. If he said it straight, it would be boring and that is not Prince. ...cause FACE said so!!! | |

The performance was a lil bland.....that is one empty song.
