Some thought Prince couldn't pack arenas anymore. A second LA show was added - unless I did something wrong, the first show must be sold out, because I put in a ticket request for best available seat just to test and it came back and said "There were no tickets available that matched your request ". First I tried 2 seats, then tried one, and it failed both times.

I then went to tickets.com to check out the reno show, and only single seats are left - a request for two tickets fails because there are none available, which puts the Reno show at a near sellout.

For club members, of the 6 shows put on advance sale yesterday, the club tickets sold out for 5 of the shows.

It would seem that prince can still fill at least some of these large arenas. And the promotion is really just getting started.

oh - I see while i was typing this, someone else posted the LA show did in fact sell out, and did so in 15 minutes.

Can somebody tell me how much tickets are costing? I want to be prepared when they go on sale...

I forgot to add - a second LA show as added for the 28th. That's what first prompted me to look into sales of the first show. You'd think there will be a press release about the sell out.

tickets for the 2nd LA show are going fast too - as I type this, the best pair of tickets are in section 210, row 12.

I got my 8 ticks, first level LA show
This will be my first time seeing the man. I tried to see him at the Forum a few years back. BUT as me and my carload were circling the parking lot, we found out he had canceled due to and ankle injury .He better not do it me again
