CONDITION OF THE HEART! Decided that I would unearth the Around the World In A Day CD - it is timeless ! But I have to say listening to all of Condition of the Heart really is amazing - it is stunning, and props to Prince for the vocal at the end, just how did he get to be such a great writer. Thanks.
Just as a side note, this album as an entire album is so well thought out, the track selection works, the instrumentation and lyrics are stunning, and as an entire project it worked probably the best of all his albums. Temptation has its critics I know, but listen to it in the context of the album, awesome! I thnak you for reading - if you have anything you wish to add, speech is free! | |

It's a beautiful song, really makes me feel close to Prince the human being. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

ATWIAD came out when I was 10. So at the time I just wanted to hear the uptempo tracks...I would always pass "Condition"...as I got older...I progressed and now it's the first song I go to when I pop that record in. The sheer beauty of this song gives me goosebumps and Prince sounds so tender, so human, so alive. It's a musical retreat for sure. It reminds me on Joni Mitchell the way he paints a picture with his lyrics. She must have been a key influence during this time (and Susannah of course!).
