The Kid's going back on Leno? Awesome!

This is GREAT because:

1. Feb 26 is my birthday. Always seems to be something cool going on in Prince-world on my birhday... I remember receiving Crystall Ball on Feb 26 back in 1998.

2. If he's on Leno, we can assume - I hope - that he doesn't make the same mistake again and appears without having anything to promote. In other words, although you never know with Prince, so many things seem to be happening right now that it's probable some press release will come soon.

He is going to be at the end of the show...that is just the format. The musical guest is always last...

He sure is stepping up the promotion - I think right now he's working on reminding people who he is. I wonder how much longer it'll be before a new album on a major label is announced. Is Prince getting these shows himself, or does he already have an unannounced deal and someone is pulling the strings to get him on?

First, opening the Grammys
Then Tavis Smiley with Wendy
Now the Tonight Show with Mel Gibson as guest - with the buzz surrounding The Passion of the Christ, you would have to think that could be the highest rated tonight show in quite a while.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction coming up in a month.

I'm still pulling for a return to Warner Bros. That just opens up so many more possibilities.

Prince has been interviewed by Leno after performing in the past. Even if he doesn't do it on the air, I expect Prince would talk to Mel Gibson about his movie. Prince studies the new world translation, Mel went to the original source material for the movie. For those who think Larry Graham has led Prince astray, perhaps Mel Gibson will have a positive influence on Prince.
