The vibe of Wish U Heaven is as heavenly as the title suggests.
With 7, I was put off by the fact that the best element of the song is sampled and for me, that dampened the effect of what I initially felt was a damn good Prince song.

Wish U Heaven wins, in my book.

Although, 7 is good!

And only half the fat of other, less well-known Prince songs.

I wish u heaven is album filler. Good album filler, mind you, but still album filler.

This is a TOUGH one...but I will pick 7 - only 'cause it's longer.

Even though I am not crazy over the album, I like 7 much more than I Wish U Heaven. There's something about 7 that just hits right with me. I have loved it since day 1 and continue to love it. I like I Wish U...but it just isn't as enjoyable as 7.

7 is the superior song...

I wish U heaven has a much better feeling and is genious in its simplicity. 7 is pretentious, vague and resentfull.

Both beautiful songs, but I wish you heaven moves my heart more than 7. I feel 7 was made for radio (not intentionally), but i wish you heaven ... simple & lovely. "la la la la la la..." Only some can do that

yes... 7 is the superior, because for one it is conceptual. "heaven" is rather run-of-the-mill in comparison, a conventional love song - which does not mean it isn't a good one. it probably runs through my head with the same frequency as 7, admittedly, depending on my mood.

I wish you Heaven - Simply a lovely song. The clapping bits at the end of 7 annoy me.. Think its a bit cheeeesy

Ah I've had a change of heart. I started playing I Wish U Heaven in my head, and I have to say I just love this song too much. I've changed my vote.

A conceptual song doesn't necessarily make it "superior" to a non conceptual song. The genius in a song does however. And the simplicity and beauty of I wish U heaven is in itsgenius far superior than of 7, because 7 is pretentious, vague and resentful.

Btw. I wish U heaven is not exactly a "love song" for lovers, but a universal love song, tyou could just as well sing to your mother/ father or girl/boyfriend.
