THe revolution is getting back together w/prince at least one of my friends thinks that.
she is convinced all this publicity that prince is playing all his old songs one last time coinciding with th epurple rain 20th says it all. she also thinks prince is going to drop this bomb right before the tour...i also told her about the wendy and prince acoustic performance and she thought that was more ammo to her opinion. i'm no die-hard fan so i can't say if i agree or not but i think if it did happen i'd be very happy. Let the rain come down...17 days.... | |

I don't believe it for one simple reason: Prince is a perfectiosist, and he wants a band that he has rehearsed with day and night for months. He wouldn't be bringing this lineup with him everywhere if he was re-uniting the Revolution. Is it possible that a few will guest on certain dates? Absolutely. I just really don't think it will be the full band.

I think it would be classier if he left it with the Tavis performance w/ Wendy, with maybe some other little reunion jams here and there. | |

Maybe with the RnR induction coming up? Buy you know what he jammed with Wendy and you all saw it! Remember the Celebration Year 1? These jams I thought were a nice touch! Maybe "no reunion" but don't it give you hope about some of the possibilities - like roadhouse??? Just nice to see them at peace and doing what they do, music | |
