the grey album danger Mouse remixed jay-Z's The Black Album with The Beatle's The White Album.Cool concept that I recently acquired.I recently acquired a mix of Ja-z with The Cure;'s Spider Man track.I think this is a champion idea!I think it would be really cool if one of our talented mixologists could juxtapose some of Prince's works with other instrumental trax.If I had talent in that type thing I would do it.I think that could be so cool.As a matter of fact,Prince should even commission somebopdy to do that with his earlier works as a cool experiment and could be cool to help with the new tour's pub machine.Imagine "Uptown" or "Something In the water" with a rza touch or a Premier touch, for example. It could even go crazier than that. You could use any music to stretch and mold a new shape out of old tracks.I really like this idea. Yeah, I checked out an article in the New York Times on this Grey Album. Interesting concept. I'd be curious to hear some experiments using Prince music or vocals.

yeah---the grey album is brilliant. DM's beats are always top choice (chek his 'Ghetto Pop Life' album----future classic) but...Jay-Z released a limited edition Accapela version of his 'BlackLP'---that makes it far easier to drop new beats behind the music. i just dont see P ever doing this. considering he doesnt even dig folks doing cover versions of his "children" DM has been served a cease-N-desist order by EMI to stop future production of the CD. >>> joint of the moment: LCD Soundsystem - 'Yeah' (all 3 versions) DFA in the house!<<< ...
