Prince on Leno

Welp, the timer's set on the ol' VCR once again, and I'm crossing my fingers that I'll come home tonight to positive results...I'm guessing we'll get to hear Musicology live on TV for the first time, and it'll be hammy-glitzy P rather than the laid-back black turtleneck Prince-Unplugged we got on Tavis last week...and the possibility of Prince sharing the couch with Mel Gibson could be, erm...interesting...any predictions?

I expect a great live performance of Musicology, then a short sit down where Prince doesn't even get the chance to talk to Mel much, if at all.

He won't share the couch. He'll probably close the show like he did last time (the Everlasting Now performance was HOT!).

I 'spect you're right...I think they have three guests booked for tonight, plus Jay has to get in some lame "comedy" crap.

Personally, I don't think it will be a Musicology performance. He's obviously there to promote the "hits" tour, so he'll most likely pull something from the past. At least he will if he's trying to fill the seats.

Well, he debuted "The Work" on Leno, and he did "Everlasting Now" on Leno...it wouldn't be a stretch to see him doing his latest single on there tonight...

i bet you are right. he needs to fill the seats and if he plays musicology, people are going to think twice about buying tix for his show, but if he does a crowd pleaser like kiss or i would die 4 u or COMPUTER BLUE (i hope) then more people will feel the need to see his show.

I don't care what he plays, really. Just as long as he's there and the band sounds good.

Mel Gibson is on and he's hot and controversial right now,so this will be P's
shot in front of a large audience(like da grammy's) so i'd be pretty surprised if
he didn't do the single
