Okay...My turn! Something in the water OR The Beautiful Ones... Those of ya'll that know me....KNOW my answer...
SOMETHING IN THE WATER!!!!!  Nothing, to me...sounds better. It will always be a favorite. Album version, Rehearsal version...doesn't matter. 
But both songs are sooooo fucking passionate...I just had to ask this question since this forum is full of these VS. threads now!!  | |

Very Very Tough Both incredible. The beautiful ones is probably easier listening to the non initiated, but there's just something about SIW - it's just soooo uniquely Prince and embodies everything that set him apart. I mean WHO THE HELL could have done anything like SIW, or much of 1999....so it's gotta be SIW.... | |

Both songs are classic, but The Beautiful Ones is a masterpiece. SITW will always remain a well-loved album track, like Bambi, where the reputation outweights the song itself. Personally . I think we are all Boring with No Lives cause all we do is talk about Prince,Criticize and Gossip. I need a Horny Man is what I Need and probably so do most of yas.
