Purple Rain DVD Question I own the DVD of PR that is out now, I never owned a video tape of it. I do remember though when I saw it the two or three times I did as a kid that the sex scene between Apolonia and Prince were steamier and longer and the girl who gets pissed at Morris Day for dissin' her the night before on the street flashed her boobs to Jerome and mOrris after Morris dumps her in the garbage.
Bottom Line: Is the DVD of Purple Rain that is now out an edited version from the original theatrical release?

The DVD is the same as the VHS version. Hopefully the May release rumor is true. "New Power slide...." |

Enquiring minds want 2 no. I saw the flick at the theater and on VHS and on the US DVD. I've never caught the boob flash. I would notice tits, if there were tits. The DVD is not edited. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
