My girl, almost 9 months old now, is Elektra. Her name came to be subliminally, but I must admit that I was listening to ATWIAD quite a bit while I was pregnant with her (not to mention TRC)... "The Ladder, " in particular.

And of course, everyone here in France asks me if I named her after Carmen Electra. I say no, but if she decides to be as gorgeous when she grows up, that's all right with me.

Any of you name your kids after Prince songs, or plan to do so?

I use to always joke with my ex that i was gonna call my child Cynthia. She was just like "Hell no!" perhaps that's why she finished the relationship... lol!

I've had to settle with calling my car Cynthia. She's real sweet!

Never thought of naming my child anything like that, but Prince and I did have our children on the same day. I always thought that was kinda cool.

i know a couple of people that posted to www.tajasevelle.com said their parents named them after Taja. so i guess they were named after a Prince name since he named Nancy Richardson, Taja Sevelle.

I'm naming my next child "I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man". After that I'm thinking either "White Mansion" or "Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic". "The Ladder" really wants a little brother.
