Purple Rain 2-Disc Special Edition DVD Moved Up To May? According to The Digital Bits website, Warner Bros. has reportedly moved up the release of the 2-disc Special Edition version of Purple Rain to May from August. Nothing is mentioned about Under The Cherry Moon or Graffiti Bridge. | |

I'm guardedly excited by the news. Warners has quite often rushed DVD releases to seize an opportunity. The finished product usually suffers. They need to do it right this time. Hopefully, the remastered and bumped the colors to perfection, from the highest quality original print in existence. The soundtrack should be 6.1 as well.
