- It depends on what´s considered cool or not. Cursing and simulating sex on stage could have been considered ´cool´ because few people had the guts to do it. Personally, I think the buttless pants are ridiculous and embarassing. And I know several people who don´t even care to listen to a full Prince album because of these ´cool´ things. On the other hand, guys like Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan WERE cool and didn´t have to do nothing as embarassing. It´s a shame that some of Prince´s behaviours made people have prejudice against him as a musician. At least here in the South Hemisphere |

Well to be honest Hendrix did fuck his guitar and amps on stage and do things that were... stimulating to some and embarassing to others. He was pretty far out for his time.
