In general, does Prince use his band at the time on all his studio albums or is it mostly just him? Don't believe the credits!!!
I sometimes get the feeling he does 90% of his studio tracks on his own. Think 'Batman', 'Graffiti Bridge', 'SOTT', 'Rave' EVEN 'Purple Rain'!. Apart from horns, I think his bandmembers input on his studio recordings is quite limited, just a feeling i get for some strange reason. i'm typing this as i listen to the 'Holy River' and thinking alright P's playing guitar but WHO is playing those drums and that Tambourine? Or am i way off with this? Edit! [This message was edited Wed Mar 3 10:43:28 2004 by Marrk]

You are quite right, the vast majority of Prince's output is all him. But he does go through
phases. Some eras are more band orientated than others.
