If he plays up the PR 20th anniversary angle, this may turn out to be a success for him. I'm just happy MPLS made the cut for the tour! yeah...hopefully some of ya'll will pass through here and say hi or sumfin. i awready know that i ain't goin to see 'im....that, and he fickle as hell. i don' truss 'im. Why ya aint goin? It'll be the last time he's playin' the hits! Plus, he might play somethin' offfa the bedspring wrekka... If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I haven't seen him in a full blown concert since the Northrop Auditorium. I hope the he plays Target Center, and not Xcel. Better acoustics, in my book. I'll be pumped either way, though. I haven't gotten a chance to be in the Excel Energy Center yet, so I'll take your word for it. Target Center wasn't too bad from what I remember back when he played there for the JotY tour. TheResistor said: COOL NEWS Can someone post the ticket prices from the NPGMC site? If it's "in the round" I wonder how presale tickets will be distributed. I'm waiting to see if I need to join the damn club or if good seats will be available through ticketmonster... I still can't see how he's going to be able to fill STAPLES CENTER unless he advertises the shit out of this show. The best thing would be ongoing radio adds to hype it all up. After all the prince-geeks and their guests buy the tix I forsee a half-empty stadium. I hope I'm wrong. I also hope this is not a medleys-show as I plan to take various friends in the "music biz" who have no idea how incredible a Prince show can be. Supposedly radio stations are giving tix away...meaning KJLH, 100.3, probably 92.3 too. Don't forget: there's a whole lot of us fans here, esp. ones who missed Vegas for $60, House of Blues for $75, and tried to pay $150 for the Forum years ago. And w/the promise of the hits and the 80s making their comeback? He'll fill it...probably have to add a day. But that may explain why their's no info on Ticketmaster for the 3/29 show. Also see that there are home games for sports until the following week...maybe he'll play Carson where the Galaxy are?
