First time posting here. I thought I would ask if anyone else loved that song as much as I do. I don't know what it is, but I pop it in everytime I need a pick me up, (no Viagra jokes please).

I loove Mountains from the Parade Album, but w/o a doubt the Xtended version is much better. That's my favourite version.

that was the first song that played on my launchcast station this morning....

From the time I heard it on the Paradealbum back in 1986, this song has always had a special place for me...I think it is among the best stuff he's ever done. Love the 12 inch extended version as well. Some great jamming to be found on that one.

The 12 inch extended version is one of my all time favorites.

I also have the intro set up under my Outlook replacing the reminder chime for meeting reminders. So when it comes time for a meeting, out my office you'll hear "Hey you, get out on that dance floor!"

Has anyone else done this?

I also took clips off the Gold Experience and replaced the rest of the Microsoft sound files for turning the computer on, off, other chimes, things like that. I'm a MAC man myself, but I have to use a PC from time to time in the office, at least this way it's a little enjoyable to use.

It's one of my favorite prince songs, i would love to see him do it live sometime.

Great song, but when u think about it what extended editions of his songs aren't good? For example Lets Go Crazy and U Got The Look extended.

Mountains is absolutly wonderful and is from my own personal favourite album.

Parade is a great album and I LOVE "Mountains". Truly one of the Revolution's finest moments .

I've always loved that song from the first time I heard the it when I was 7. It still gives me a big ole smile.

Awesome tune. This is one of the true classic Prince tracks. I love the extended remix version of this song too. You can hear this track in the UTCM movie.

LOOOVE Mountains. This is one of the songs that I refer to when someone doesn't understand the amazing chemistry between Prince, Wendy and Lisa. Top 5 easy.

Yeah, Mountains is actually more Wendy and Lisa than Prince. Out of all the material released
by Prince and the Revolution, It's probably the track with the biggest overall input from them.

He played it live almost every night on the Parade (hit & run) tour, but I haven't heard him
play it since.

What a wonderful masterpiece. I remember discovering Parade back in '86, that one was one of the first I liked a lot. A fey days ago I buyed a new record player. The first disc I put on was the extended version. Hell, what a groove!
