4. 4ever in my life
5. I wonder U (piano)
6. I wish U Heaven
7. Condition of the Heart

Prince's Grammy performance was an example how a television appearance can generate a lot of interest and positive press. Since it appears that he is going to go on an all-out media blitz to promote his upcoming album and tour, what would be better way to "re-introduce" himself to the public (especially the younger generation) and show off his muscianship than to do an MTV Unplugged set or VH-1 Storytellers. Imagine an hour of just him and a stripped down backing band doing acoustical renditions of his "hits." This would remind everyone of those songs and of what an amazing talent he is. This would help create a buzz which would lead to increased ticket sales and eventually album sales. To me, like the Grammy appearance, this would open some eyes. Look at what some of the "Unplugged" shows did for the careers of some of the other artists over the years. Seeing Prince and Wendy was a glimpse at how special an Unplugged set could be.

You have great taste. #1 is one of my favorites....#3 and #5 would be HOT acoustic! 4ever in my life sounded great in the SOTT movie. #8 is already acoustic, but I never heard him do it live. Only ones I don't agree on are #9 and #10 (I never heard Everywhere - what album is it from?)

My list:

1. So Blue
2. When We're Dancing Close and Slow
3. Could y'all imagine 1999 acoustic? Finger cymbals and all?
4. Tambourine
5. Sometimes it Snows In April
6. Gold
7. Dreamin' About U
8. Fascination
9. Circle of Amor
10. Money Don't Matter 2nite

I know the shit will probably hit the fan after this post! smile Y'all are free to disagree. I just came up with this list off the top if my head.

Ive said it before when this topic has previously cropped up, he was approached on numerous occasions by MTV 2 appear on Unplugged, and each time he turned them down - even stating in one interview that he'd: 'love 2 do it if they asked'

I remember seeing an advertisement one year on MTV when "Unplugged" was announcing the years upcoming performances. Prince was shown on the clip and scheduled to appear.

What the fuck happened to that? Did P back out at the last moment? Was an episode actually taped?
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I LOVE to see Prince do "Storytellers" Although now he prob. won't talk about some of those stories. heh heh.
I'm firmly planted in denial
