Who likes Prince mysterious and aloof? Just watched the '85 American Music Awards. Prince had his whole "out there rock star" act down pat. Same as he did on the JB+MJ tape. I actually like it better when he doesn't try to act like the aloof misunderstood genius. He actually can seem very intelligent and aware whenm he wants ie Tavis Smiley Show. That being said, the myserious thing does make for good SNL skits. "New Power slide...."

I think he has some difficultly in expounding on subjects presented to him in the spare of the moment.
The Tavis Smiley interview was interesting, and enjoyable - but there were several topic discussed that when Prince gave the answers, they sounded rambling and mumbo-jumbo - but to the people who follow his career, like most of us here, we understood what he was referencing in his answers - but I doubt anyone outside his core audience did. I'm not saying this is good or bad, I'm just saying. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I've always loved Prince's mystique, it's part of what makes him the most fascinating man in music. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

I've noticed that he tends to react to his environment, whether that reaction is comfort or discomfort.
