Prince's wailing vocals and heavy guitar riffing are right at home in the straightforward "_____" The album's longest track "_____" is a masterfully funky affair that combines both West Coast and reggae rap styles with jazzy horns and rocked-out guitar soloing.

Prince has always been an icon of style, and his music has reflected his eclectic tastes. "_____" is a well-crafted piece tailored to the enigmatic guitarmeister's rock specifications. From Prince's closet to your ears.

Well this sucked. Your both right it IS Chaos and Disorder. I did not think it would be that easy. I did not know this album got even one good review. Oh well, I'll think of a new game to play.

Screw the glyph name:He's become the little man who wasn't there. His curt farewell to Warner Brothers is the finest ex-Prince album you never heard. If some unknown had released this much rock and soul,bruise guitar,and gifted trash talk ,fans would rave."I Will" is the miracle power ballad with winged solo," I Rock Therefore I Am" a definat shout keyed to the line "I don't need you to tell me I'm in the band."



Just another example of how if these albums were successful people would say they were masterpieces.

I always thought chaos was underrated.

Always a slippery devil, he's damn near vaporized commercially over the past few years, as has his promotional budget, basically because he's reached that certain age--way too familiar for ye olde shock of the new, way too boyish for intimations of immortality. So it's understandable that what's sworn to be "the last original material recorded by [File Under Prince] 4 warner brothers records" has been ignored all around. But anybody expecting a kissoff or a throwaway radically underestimates his irrepressible musicality. i have to admit....i was not a fan of c&d....until i met my freind rio in the year 2001....he is soul-ly responsible for getting me to understand this piece of work! i LOVE this album now...and everytime i listen to it it rocks harder than the last

i recall chaos getting really good reviews...and it is a solid concept of an album..but i think people dismissed it cause it wasnt a full 14 song (too long) effort with the backing of the studio..

that being said...i think there are three too many fillers for a short album..if they werent there...id be creaming for chaos!!

ditto the COME album..
