I also thought it was very Joni. Plus, the live performance with Wendy totally threw me back to the Live Aid broadcast of "4 the Tears in Ur Eyes"? Any1 else feel that?

Let's see:
The vocal delivery is reminiscent of "One of Your Tears." The strummed chords are the same sort of 1-4 model that dominates "The Cross." I'll concede that the sum of the song is probably greater than its parts, but I don't think it's as phenomenal as people are making it. And, I never heard the studio version. 2.5 | |
