One Nite Only - Prince LIVE @ Madison Square Garden I was just a an outdoor festival in my home town of Sydney with about 100,000 other people and was thinking, man, what a 20th Anniversary spectacular it would be if Prince put on a one night only special live show at a HUGE outdoor venue like Madison Square Garden. I'm talking a televised event that would be perfect to celebrate his Rock n Roll hall of fame entry as well as the 20th Anniversary of Purple Rain.
It could be one huge night, with guest appearances by old band members, (like the Family Jamm gig) as well as other artists that have inspired him along the way. A night of remembering the past while introducing the new... I love it. MUSICOLOGY - A retrospective of what was, and what is to come. That's what i'd like to see.
