With all due respect, I'm not bitching about Prince's decision to go on her show and am not trying to impose my views on anyone. Am I not allowed to express an opinion? I just don't see the connection and common interests to be on this comedy sitcom. TO ME, it seems so not classy and typical for Prince to do. Perhaps I'm a bit judgemental on Ellen D., not saying I don't respect her, but I'm not fond of her personaly, I don't find her funny or interesting and I'm not sure I share your views on "the more exposure, the better". And for what its worth, this is the first post I ever made involving Prince that is negative. Who do you think you are making accusations? Chill baby, I wasn't specifically attacking you, nor am I making accusations. Many people have bitched about everything Prince does these days, to the point where it is getting ridiculous. If P had been appearing in a lame role on her former sitcom (which is what you apparenly mistook this for), I would be totally agreeing with you. My thought is that his getting exposure on shows where he can play his music is a good thing. People were also complaining that he appeared on Tavis, and that he is going to be on Regis, Leno, etc. My statement was meant to express that I just don't see these appearances as bad, even if the shows are (personally, Ellen annoys the heck out of me. I've never really ever found her funny. Still, I think its a good thing for P to do the show). You have every right to your opinion, as does everyone on this board. Many times I'm critical of moves Prince makes, so I have no problem with this. We can all express our opinions. Thats all I was doing: expressing my opinion that people are griping about something that really isn't a bad thing. Peace
