How in the heck do I get myself invited to this galant affair? Who do I have to know? Who do I have to bribe? I was silly enough to arrange my work schedule around this event, just on the off chance that I could fenagle my way in there.

I think this is a good thing. They're obvious fans and despite what some think, very talented. The fact that they're current is kind of a way to tie the present in with the past. If Santana or George Clinton did the induction it might make him seem more irrelevant. If people see the respect he gets from the younger generation it shows his true impact. In return it also shows his appreciation for these newer artists. I'm sure he wouldn't want somebody he didn't respect inducting him. |

this works for me. I may not like everything that alicia keys puts out but i think that she is an artist and takes her craft very seriously. As time goes on she is only going to get better. Alicia Keys will knock 'em dead with time. | |
