I think the Oprah interview might have been the worst, but his "Good Morning, America" appearance (the one w/the cracker nibbling) ranks a close second.

I know he was going through a tough time around then, but he just seemed very PHONY in that era.

Was it in an interview with Chris Rock where he called his fans, "fans" and then said something like:

"actually i like to call them friends, because 'fan' is short for 'fanatic'".



It was the look he gave, as if this was some extraordinary insight. Priceless.

Course, the man still rocks.
