This Prince one was funny...especially the pancake part...I think because Charlie Murphy said : "Then he took us inside and served us pancakes.." with a dead serious face...it was like "I'm telling the truth "mixed with "I was thinking 'what the (bleep)?'too!"
But my hands down favorite was the Rick James one... the real Rick James sitting there with all of that Pancake makeup and lip gloss on..talking about "cocaine is a serious drug..."and contradicting himself every other sentence... Dave Chapelle's Rick had that orange glow..reminded me of The Last Dragon and of course.."I'm Rick James B***h!"I went around saying that and "Cold Blooded..." for a week. I love Chapelle Show though...My favorite skit was the Racial Draft...it was so funny to me. And the the Real World skit from the first season when there was only one white person in the house with all black people..priceless. | |

I saw both skits while flipping back and forth between Chapelle and SNL and if I had any brains I would have kept Dave on! Both bits (the Prince one and the Rick James one) were funny as hell. I thought it would have been funnier if they had people that actually looked like the actual Revolution. Still, it killed me. They have to replay it. Those bits along with "Red Balls" slayed my ass so much that I'm sold on buying his first season DVD which I saw was coming out soon! | |

And I guess this means Dave Chapelle (sp?) is a fan because old skool fans know P can ball. Afda readin' ya'll's post I'm watch it again(downloaded it this past Saturday) Chappelle's wig wuza bit flatter than the original 1s. 2 lil 2 tall & it sounded like his voice wuza bit lower. I dun hardly hear Prince talk regulary(except in his music) but just casual like so I'm not so sure. Newayz I love how he said "Darling Picky!" & how he called Charlie Murphy & his crew "Bitches".
