OMG!!!! Dave Chappelle just made fun of Prince!!!!!! I was watching "Chappelle's Show" just now. They had another one of those "True Hollywood Story" sketches with Eddie Murphy's brother, Charlie (who is a regular on the show). He was talking about how the androgynous look was the happening thing back in 1985. And then he talked about how he saw Micki Free (the replacement for Jeffery Daniels of Shalamar) who was into that style and then he sees Prince at a club one night. Prince was being played brilliantly by Dave Chappelle. He had the whole 1984 look and everything. And they had that drum machine Prince style background music playing too. So then Prince invites Charlie to his crib to hang out, then he challenges him to a game of basketball. So Charlie's like, "you should never judge a book by it's cover", because Prince and his curly-haried co-horts were whipping Charlie and his crew. I don't wanna give too much away. It was just mad funny though. I was on the floor. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE. | |
