Well, given that I find TRC difficult to listen to, and therefore haven't listened to it that much, I wasn't aware that he refers to himself as the wise one. Not really taking any notice of the lyrics, I just assumed the Wise One he was talking about was God, as usual.

If he does see himself as the wise one, whose mission is to spread the word through music, then I think he is deluded, not to mention failing in his task. I saw the ONA show when he came to Dublin, I did not leave that concert with any new spiritual message or meaning. In fact, the show seemed only to be about the music (as it should be) and the one 'spread the word' bit that he did (The 'Do you love God?' bit) got as many Fuck off's and Get on with the music's as it did Yes's. So his delivery needs some work too.

Believing oneself to be the wise one, wiser than a prophet, sounds like a dangerous road to me, at the end of which are undoubtedly men with white coats.
