NBC is practically across the street from Universal where I am, and I've never been to a Tonight Show, but I guess I'm getting old. I still can't see camping out from the early morn to catch a one song bit..
Not to mention that since he's still hanging around LA, he could book another gig. This guy really needs to take his purple ass back to MPLS for a few weeks. since I've caught his act 4 times in the last month (ok, one was Maceo's gig) and I need some physical and financial recovery time! Gettin' the Geritol and 'Tussin ready! cracknbush

Here's the deal...I live in Orange County...Irvine to
be exact. I've got an extra ticket for Leno (yes...I got tickets already...I know someone who knows someone...but I WON'T be able to get more tickets for anyone so don't ask). I'm looking for an OCer because I need a ride. However...it won't be your ride...it'll be mine. I use a wheelchair and have a specially equipped van. I need someone to drive it (so ya gotta have an impeccable driving record). Also...no freaks. We would be spending a LONG time together (probably 6 hours) and while I know i'm a good conversationalist... I do drive, however I got in a "fender bender" last night and my van (I have 2 vans) is going to be out of commission for a few weeks. Write me at: lsinger9404@cox.net No flakes! Larry

locoarts said: Hey Lets all write David Letterman's show and see if they will book Prince when he is NYC for the Rock Hall Induction! This would NEVER happen! I think that they BOTH still have a sour taste from the forced-performance on Letterman of "Dinner W/ Delores" when he was forced by WB to promote Chaos and Disorder. He played his song and high-tailed it outta there! He must've insulted Letterman, because he then kept making fun of the symbol for the rest of the night. Oh, man, do I feel old...I saw Prince do "Uptown" on Don Kirshner (sp?) . Who knows about this (so you can be as old as me! ha). But I did see it and it was over right then at however old I was! TheBoostress P.S. The song "Reflections" that he did tonight w/Wendy was very touching and cool. Loved to see them playing like that...alterna-we are the world, anyone?

I will be taping that one next week. It feels really good being a Prince fan these days.
And I don't care what song he does either, just as long as it sounds good. I'm just happy to even see the man. [This message was edited Fri Feb 20 0:01:23 2004 by NWF] NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
