the revolution is here! according to ?uestlove, drummer of the roots and great admirer of prince,
who recently spoke with wendy, there's a good chance that the revolution is getting back together (soon). he was pretty sincere about this. i'm hyped about it myself. isn't prince performing with wendy some time soon? don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine

Yeah, Prince and Wendy are on the Tavis Smiley show this Thursday.
Anyway, 2004's shaping up to be a good Prince year so far. ~ I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR ~

See the link below or do a search for Prince at their site for more info. As they suggest, local times may very. So, double check before you set your VCR! Whether the Revolution return or not, I'm very optimistic that this is going to be a great year for Prince and all of us who've stayed with him for all these years.. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

The REVOLUTION is now here!  Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I love the thought of P working with Wendy and Lisa again. Even if they're working on finishing up old projects like Roadhouse Garden or tracks for the Purple Rain re-release. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

As much as I'd LOOVE a Revolution reunion, I'm with Handclapsfingasnapz. Don't count your chickens before they're hatched.
Even if, at this point in time, all the Revolution and Prince are up for a reunion, as a Prince fan for a long long time I've learned to not get excited about something (especially something of this magnitude) until it is actually happening in front of me. Not only is Prince involved in this equation - and we all know how his whims and plans change with the direction of the wind on any given day - but then there's all the rest of the Revolution members to take into account i.e.: a lot of personal schedules and baggage and ramifications to work out and work around to fascilitate a reunion actually being able to happen. I'm not falling for the teasing this time, not for something of this magnitude. (at least not yet) | |
