Prince Parody on SNL tonight

Kinda lame. I liked it better when In Living Color and MAD TV did him.

Yah, the guy who did him was lame. Chris Kataan would have been PERFECT. It took em long enough. near the end the guy started pulling out some better impersonations, but it was overall boring and not too funny, cept for G FUNK.

Yeah, it was just okay. Remember that guy who used to do him, Phil LaMarr? Now he was really hilarious! The Prince of Egypt? Good stuff. This one was mediocre in comparison.

I guess the real problem is that SNL sucks. The Kelis performance was actually worth watching. I always hated that Milkshake song, but her rock version was actually tollerable.

What point in the show is the parody? I'm on the west coast so I'll tune in just for that. SNL has gotten so bad I don't think I can stand more than that segment.

I thought it was hilarious, but it was because I didn't laugh the whole night. I watched it to see Kelis, and they had her mike turned down or something...

It's the last skit of the show, before a commercial break & the credits. Kind of funny in parts...

Actually, Eddie Griffin's take was HIGH-LARIOUS.

Just logged in to drop this, but I see the East Coaster's beat me to it. I was jamming with SNL muted on the tv and caught the last minute.
I looked up and saw the guy playing George, then Prince and Beyonce. The last part was kinda funny. Damn, at least someone is parodying the guy. SNL does suck, but I suppose it's better to be ripped in parody then to be obscure
...The Prince Show o+>. Symbol and all... Semi amusing.

I think MAD TV is superior in their skits. They had some bit with Snoop Dog (whom I don't really care for).. It was an interview show, and one dude comes out with,
"Man, where'd you go to school? UDM? University of Dumb Motherfuckers? It was all in the delivery.. Too funny.

I think the skit had it's moments. Actually, the spoofing of Prince wasn't as funny as the spoofing of Pink (the poses...classic) and George (and I don't know how accurate the Clinton impression was but I loved when he said "Can I take a look through that thing" after Prince said that he saw someone making love to herself). The thing that just cracked me up the most was the cheesy bumper of the dove flying and a purple love symbol in the background. The show was actually decent last night even though Drew and a few others screwed up their lines ever so often.

lol Cold shit!

I thought it was funny. Chris Kattan would have been a better choice but given his absence, Fallon should have done it (he's prettier). Maya Rudolph does a great Beyonce, especially the speaking voice/attitude. Wish they had done something with her hogging the mic from him & had him say something, that would have been funny...
