Eddie M's work with Prince

ok, Prince is clearly mending relationships - Sheila E and Eric Leeds over the last few years, and now Wendy and Eddie M within the last week (not sure how much needed 'mending' with Eddie, but you catch my drift wink ).

I remember him playing on Temptation, and on the Purple Rain tour - otherwise only on Sheila E tracks like Holly Rock - has he played on any other studio tracks with Prince - released or unreleased?

And did he play for the whole show last night, or just a few songs?

clapping to Prince for going out of his way to play with old friends again. It's always a pleasure to hear about something like this, even from 3,000 miles away!

he just came on for a little bit.. clowned around some and even sneaked in a few notes of (i think, haze brain) love bizarre at which Prince turned around and made thumbs up sign but at the same time took control over the jam again

he was ushered off stage after a few minutes.

but yeah, seems like all is good

Mutual friends have told me that Eddie was the "stage director" for much of the theatrics of the Purple Rain tour. He's also a screamin' alto player!

It's Eddie on the extended version of "I Would Die 4 U" - he calls his name at the beginning (as in 'Eddie, Mico')

It's too bad Prince wasn't at the Family Jamm.
He could have mended all these relationships in one night & under the same roof.
