A long time ago, I heard Robin say (on the Howard Stern radio show)something to the effect that she had always made a point to see Prince live whenever he played because he put on the best shows she has ever seen, but that she has been disappointed in the past few shows that she's been to. I don't remember the date that she said it because I don't listen to the idot's (Stern) show; only happen to catch it sometimes when I drive my husbands truck. But I think it was 8mo to a year ago.
As far as the performance at the Grammys, I was personally disappointed. I have only seen a couple of other of his performances at award shows--Purple Medley and P Control--and I thought they were far better than the one he did with Beyonce. To be fair, I only caught it from the middle of Purple Rain to the end and then shut the TV off.
