Surely even Ps most critical fans must be pleased with this great publicity?.

What a great week to be a fan, our fave Purple head is right back in the spotlight where he belongs, yet i've read the odd thread whining about it!. Stupid comments like he only got on there coz it was a duet with Bouncey, or he's only managed to get plaudits with music that's 20 years old etc. I truley believe that if he'd played some of his newer stuff he would 've got the same reaction, bottom line is that he has in the main HUGE respect in the industry for his all round ability. It is unbelieveable that some on here can find fault with the whole grammy thing. And how you [Bart] can criticise Maceo for being in the band is beyond belief. This is Maceo Parker for fucks sake.
So to any who are pissed that he's back in the limelight but not with new music ,for Gods sake be pleased!. Its a means to an end and at the end of the end it was a great business move.
Thankyou and good night!

I agree. I think 2004 might turn out to be a very big year for our man...
